Nail Fungas and toenail removal?

I have a nail fungas, and it is really bad. I am considering removal of the infected toenails. I was wondering if it will take care of the fungus, and will the nail grow back normaly after doing so.Nail Fungas and toenail removal?
my wife had this. tea tree oil got rid of all but the fungus under the big toe. lamisal didn,t work at all. she finally had the nails on the big toe removed. they may grow back, if they are not removed properly.Nail Fungas and toenail removal?
ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
My friend has that issue. She has to get her toenail removed every 5 months. It grows back, but she doesn't care for the fungus properly while the nail is growing back, so that may be the issue. Go to a foot doctor and get a consult. Most insurances require you to go to a normal doctor and have them refer you to a specialist, so do that first. (or check with your insurance)

The nail should grow back fine, but there's no way of anyone knowing with just the info given. Have you tried that antifungal stuff they sell at drug stores. If not, give it a shot. If one doesn't work, try a different kind (with different active ingredients) Your insurance may not cover toenail removal unless a doctor says it's bad, so try OTC stuff before spending the $ on the surgery.

Make sure you clean your shower often, and dont walk around barefoot. When showering somewhere besides your house, wear shower shoes. You don't want to spread your fungus to others, or make yours worse. Spray your shoes with antifungal spray weekly. My sis has a bad issue with foot fungus because she does sports. When she sprays her shoes, and cleans her feet properly, it's better.
Soak your feet in hydrogen peroxide. That will kill the fungus. Keep your feet in the peroxide until it stops bubbling. When it stops bubbling, refill the peroxide and soak until your feet do not make the peroxide bubble.

The fungus lives below toenails and beneath calluses. If you have calluses on your feet, make sure you remove them first..

People's feet stink because of fungus living beneath calluses..
